The term HIIT stands for High-Intensity Interval Training. It entails performing an exercise in two phases: high-intensity activity followed by a rest or lower-intensity phase.
If you're jumping rope, for example, jump for 60 seconds at your maximum heart rate, then rest for 30 seconds. Then repeat for the appropriate number of rounds. An HIIT workout can include a variety of activities depending on your fitness goals.
Create a circuit that includes squats, pushups, pullups, jogging, and jumping ropes, for example. Then, as many times as necessary, repeat this circle of activities.
High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is performed at 75% to 95% of your maximum heart rate. This exercise will benefit your cardiovascular health, weight loss, endurance, blood pressure, and blood sugar levels.

Is there no downside to HIIT?
High-intensity exercise has numerous benefits, including the ability to improve mood, lower disease risk, effectively burn calories, and even be enjoyable. However, there are a few drawbacks to high intensity fitness that must be addressed.
1. risk of bodily harm Intense exercise raises the risk of injury. Jogging or sprinting increases your risk of muscle or joint injury more than walking does. Injuries sustained during high-intensity workouts, such as CrossFit, are celebrated as badges of honor.
At Cardio High, we believe that injuries should be avoided at all costs. We always begin with a proper dynamic warmup to reduce injury risk, and we teach clients to train at their own pace while minimizing impact whenever possible. Corrective exercises are also used to help improve postural imbalances that can lead to injuries.
2. Maintenance. High-intensity fitness programs are more likely to be abandoned than less intense fitness programs. At Cardio High, we believe that finding enjoyment in exercise is essential to maintaining a fitness program over the long haul. Finding a variety of activities is the best way to keep from getting bored while exercising. The best way to mix high-intensity training with walking, yoga, or a sport is to add variety and a fitness mix that will help you maintain a healthy routine.
